Before you start, make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The device does not support 5 GHz.
Step-by-step setup:
1. Download and open the Mosqitter app.
2. Sign in or create an account.
3. Plug in the device and turn it on by holding the power button.
4. Check the display:
- If you see the main screen (ECO / AUTO / BOOST): press button 4 to open the menu, press button 2 a few times to reach Menu > Information, then press button 4 to select 'Connect to cloud' and wait for the device to reboot.
- If you see 'Use Mosqitter app' with a Bluetooth icon: the device is already in pairing mode — go straight to the next step.
5. In the app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
6. Wait for the app to detect the device (this may take up to a minute).
7. Follow the in-app prompts to enter your Wi-Fi password and complete setup.
8. Set your sunrise and sunset times, temperature format, and time zone when prompted.
Tip: If the app is stuck searching and the device is not found, try rebooting the device and starting again.
