Placement is key. Position the device where mosquitoes are active, but not right next to people. The goal is to draw mosquitoes away from seating areas.
Recommended placement:
- Open space with no walls or dense vegetation blocking it
- 16-33 ft (5-10 m) from patios, terraces, or seating areas
- All four sides unobstructed for 360-degree airflow
- Shaded spot preferred; avoid constant direct sunlight
Avoid placing near:
- Walls or buildings (limits coverage)
- Generators, HVAC vents, or strong heat sources
- Enclosed corners or areas with poor airflow
